Free Raw Food Recipe - Best Blueberry Or Blackberry Pie Raw Recipe

If you're looking for a healthy alternative to cooked berry pies or even cooked desserts that are laden with unhealthy fats and sugars, why not try my live-food, free, easy, raw berry pie recipe. Many people are gradually making the switch from cooked desserts and cooked foods which are causing so many of our health problems today. It doesn't matter if you're a raw fooder or eat the standard American diet; you'll love this raw berry pie recipe and know that you're doing your body good in the process.

In fact making a raw berry pie does not require turning on the oven and can be made in virtually minutes. I have often timed myself and can make this pie in ten minutes or less if the ingredients are assembled. Equipment: food processor.

This is my own creation, one of many vegetarian, vegan and raw food recipes that I have developed and created over the past few years as a raw fooder - eating raw foods, having cured myself of breast cancer, fibromyalgia, arthritis and sinus infections along with many other ailments.

You can use the pie crust for dozens of other types of raw food recipes or live pies including raw or live apple pie. I've experimented with dozens of variations and tried various ingredients but I've found this raw blackberry or blueberry pie recipe is the best, fastest and easiest recipe to make. In fact if you're going to have company coming over you can whip this free raw food diet recipe up in no time.

Helen's Best Raw Berry Pie - the ingredients: 12 organic medjool dates, 1 cup raw pecans, 4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries, blackberries or boysenberries and 2 bananas.

For the crust put 1 cup of raw pecans in a food processor and grind until fine. Add 8 pitted organic medjool dates and process until mixed fairly well. Place into a 9-inch pie plate.

For the binder mix two bananas, 8 berries or so for color and 4 medjool dates in a food processor - use the same food processor - don't need to wash it. Remove to large bowl and carefully fold in 4 cups of fresh or frozen or partially frozen blueberries, boysenberries or blackberries. Spread berry-binder mixture on top of the crust. Decorate with boysenberries or blackberries around the edge of the pie. Refrigerate.

This live or raw berry pie is a family favorite and one I have served on many occasions to company who are not aware they are eating something healthy containing all the vibrant nutrients - nothing cooked out.

This pie is really good with boysenberries too. You can also slice some fresh kiwi on the top or other fruits that won't turn color.

One nice thing to know about fixing any raw food recipe is that you can eliminate, substitute or add ingredients easily and it will still taste delicious! In this vegan or raw food diet recipe - you may only have one banana on hand for example or you can make half the recipe. You can substitute the pecans for a mixture of one half cup pecans and one half cup walnuts, or all walnuts.

If you live in an area where you have tons of wild blackberries you can make this pie for pennies. Pick blueberries cheaply in the summer and freeze them for year-round use, although fresh berries are always the best. You can make raw berry pies with this free raw food recipe year-round and you'll feel good too knowing you have served your friends and family something that will help them better their health and help them lose weight if they need to too.

Recipes For Fruit-Based Desserts

It was the Romans who first formalized meals into courses, starting with Gustatio (starters or appetizers), followed by Primae Mensae (main courses) and then Secundae (Desserts).

Of course, the following of a main savoury dish with something sweet (even if it's only a fruit) is as old as humanity itself. This hearkens back to human origins, when we were mostly fruit-eaters and sweetness was linked to the ripeness of fruit. The sweetness of ripe fruit being something we crave, still. Indeed, many of our desserts are an attempt to capture the taste, texture and sweetness of fruit; whether that be through the incorporation of fruit flavours or the addition of sweeteners such as honey or sugar.

Even the textures of many desserts, especially if they are custard or egg sponge based are could be described as fruit-like in consistency. Just imagine biting into a floury apple or a peach then think of a sponge or a set custard.

Admittedly, one of the favourite dessert ingredients today is chocolate, buy you have to remember that chocolate is a fat extracted from a fruit seed that's then sweetened with sugar. So chocolate isn't a million miles away from the fruit from which it's produced.

Below are recipes for two classic desserts, one made with fruit the other incorporating fruit.

Baked Apples

Ingredients:
4 firm baking apples (I like small Bramleys or Cox's for their tartness)
4 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
45g chopped walnuts
45g currants
45g chopped figs
1 tbsp butter
180ml boiling water

Method:
Wash the apples then dry them and using a sharp knife and a spoon cut and scoop out the cores to form a well about 3cm in diameter that drops down to within 1cm of the base of the fruit (leave the base whole).

Meanwhile, sir together the fruit and nuts in a bowl and add the sugar and cinnamon. Spoon this mixture into the wells you formed in the apples then transfer the fruit to a baking dish. Dot the top of each well with butter then pour the boiling water into the base of the baking dish. Transfer to an oven pre-heated to 190°C and bake for about 40 minutes, or until the apples are tender (but not too soft).

Remove from the oven then spoon a little of the sauce into the centres of the apples. Serve hot in dessert bowls and accompany with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Plum and Apple Pie with Walnut Pastry

Ingredients:
500g sweet walnut pastry (add 50g ground walnuts to your normal pastry mix)
500g cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
500g plums, halved and stoned
30g butter
1 tbsp granulated sugar
2 egg whites
120g caster sugar

Method:
Roll out just over half the pastry on a lightly-floured surface and use to line a deep pie dish.

Add the butter to a pan and when melted stir-in the granulated sugar then add the fruit and cook until just soft (about 15 minutes). Take off the heat and allow to cool then tip into the prepared pie dish. Roll out the remaining pastry and make a lid on the pie. Crimp the edges with a fork then remove the excess pastry, make a few steam holes in the top and place in an oven pre-heated to 200°C. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the pastry is just coloured.

Meanwhile beat the egg whites in a clean bowl until stiff. Fold in the caster sugar and then beat until dissolved into the egg white mix. Take the pie out of the oven and swirl the meringue mix over the top. Return to the oven and bake for about 8 minutes, or until the meringue is golden and set. Serve hot or cold.

No Bake Desserts

If you're grilling, skewer some fresh fruit and marinate them in grapefruit juice and honey, while you're cooking and eating the rest of your meal. When you're ready, pop the skewers on the grill for about five minutes, turning occasionally to prevent burning.  

You'll find pre-made angel food cake at most grocery stores. Some are now offering a sugar-free version. You can make easy no bake desserts at home, if you plan ahead, and no one will know that you didn't slave in the kitchen all day.   

All it takes is a store-bought angel food cake, a pint of sliced strawberries, a can of pineapple slices (not in syrup) and a container of light cool whip. Spread the thawed cool whip first, and then arrange the fruit slices on top...voila! You have a dessert that looks good and tastes good, too. It's light and low in calories, as well. You can really use any kind of fruits that you like, except bananas. The slices will turn brown.  

If you want bananas, try making popsicles out of them. Skewer a half banana. Roll it in honey, then in a plate of crushed nuts. Wrap them in plastic and pop them in the freezer. If you have kids, they'll love making these themselves. The bananas make a tasty cool treat on a hot summer day.  

If you want elegant no bake desserts, that are also sugar and flour free, why not let someone else do the work for you. How does chocolate truffle cake sound or, how about a crust-less cheesecake? I'm a good cook, but I can't do either of them myself.   

For parties and special occasions, I always serve two selections for the dessert menu. One is for those of us that are trying to watch our waist lines. The other is for those that are less concerned. I found that my guests liked the flourless sugar free cheesecake, just as much as the regular.       

So, now, I just order two NY style, no sugar-added cheesecakes and top them with fresh strawberries. These are no bake desserts that don't require much planning ahead, since I can order them on-line and they'll be delivered to my door the next day. With my family's busy lifestyle, I simply don't have much time to cook anymore. If you're like me, you are commuting, working a full day, trying to get dinner done and on the table every night, while trying to entertain occasionally. We really need all of the help we can get.

Let the water to boil for two to four minutes at little heat or till to the time when the water may completely mix up with the sugar and seems to be like a syrup mixture. Mix the apples, shred toast of Texas and raisins in a baking pan and make it like a mixture. Now pour the syrup made by the water and the sugar and mix it well. You need to spread the cheese on the top of the mixture and then lightly mix it. Allow the mixture to bake for thirty minutes in the oven. After baking it is ready to be served. It is a most preferred authentic Mexican desserts recipe by the people.

Food & Drink Paradise-Desserts Paradise

Preparing an Indonesian layer cake is not too difficult. Although you see many ingredients involved. When you summaries it, you should be able to make it. No problem at all!

Are you ready?

Let's go......

Ingredients A
35g all purpose flour
1 tablespoon walnut (powdered)
1.5 teaspoon five spices powder
Preparation
Combine and sift all together.

Ingredients B
150g butter
40g cane sugar
65 ml sweet milk
Preparation
a. Melt the butter under room temperature.
b. Add sugar to the butter, and beat till fluffy.
c. Add milk and beat until creamy white.

Ingredients C
6 egg yolks
1/2 tablespoon rum
Preparation
a. Stir egg yolks into the B mixture, one at a time.
b. Lightly mix in rum.

Ingredients D
20g sugar
3 egg whites

Action
a. Beat egg whites, and sugar together until stiff.
b. Add this and the flour into the B mixture, and mix thoroughly.
c. Prepare 2 small square baking pan, grease them.
d. Place 2 tablespoons mixture into it, and bake in a 150°C oven, for 10 minutes.
e. Take out the baking pan, spread smoothly 1 tablespoon mixture on top of the cake.
f. Bake in 200°C upper heat oven, until browned.
g. Repeat this process till last second layer.
h. Adjust the oven to 150°C lower heat, and bake for 15 minutes.

Note:a. You may make a bigger cake, by increasing the volume of the ingredients, when you are familiar with it. b. Some people will add cocoa powder into the ingredients, and they will have an extra aroma from it.

Spending gourmet dessert time is worth something. Some of the recipes are very easy to follow. Others are difficult. Do not know about you, but I'm doing, who are sweet and simple.

But sometimes I want to develop my skills and learn a bit 'more complicated. For example, I'm not apple strudel for the first time in years, and was a disaster. I could have been usedsome lessons for sure. But for all the disasters of cooking, I have had great success.

Here are some tips to help you learn to make desserts.



Follow a recipe. If you find a recipe, a reliable source, you know very well written and easy to follow. I like to use recipes from my cookbooks favorite pastry. I usually make margins are sweet when I try to follow a recipe from a sourceIt was not prudent. There is nothing more than the fear of confusing instructions, or if you notice something missing in mid writeaup cooking.

Follow. There are many videos online that can help a lot. It 'can also use paid services. And do not forget all the great cooking shows on television. Sometimes it is useful to look instead of reading. It can really help to illustrate the technique.

Take a class.You need not be pie in the kitchen in a school classroom, in that way. Check the local training of adults, the library, see the local cuisine, shopping, etc., so if they offer classes.

So if you want to make sweet, to develop your skills, there is no reason why you could not know yourself. There are several ways for people to develop their skills and make delicious desserts that people like to eat.

Valentine Sweets: Sweets for Valentine's Day dinner

Choose a simple but delicious dessert recipe for dinner on Valentine's Day the finishing touch to your Valentine. Chocolate is a beautiful gift for Valentine's Day, is sweet and good to add a note of your indulgence. Another good choice is juicy fresh fruit, which is always welcome in winter. Any pink or red fruit is ideal, such as strawberries, raspberries or rhubarb. Tropical fruits are also an excellent choice, and the simplest of desserts for allIt could only serve a plate of sliced fruit like the mango in two juicy passion fruit, pineapple and papaya wedges. Add some cubes of chocolate cake and a sprinkle of walnuts, a dessert and you have a delicious and Valentine immediately.

In the early forced rhubarb a nice shade of pink, it's cool that looks beautiful in a lather. Chop 450g (12 oz) of fruit and simmerautumn and during 10 minutes in a cool place 50 ml (4 tbsp) orange juice, 1 cinnamon stick, and 25 g (5 tablespoons), sugar, bread, until the rhubarb is tender. Remove the lid and cook for 5 minutes, until most liquid has evaporated. Stir in 1 tablespoon currant jelly and leave to cool. Fold the fruit set 150 ml (3.2 cup) 0% fat greek yogurt, cold drinks and spoon in 2 hours. This makes six individual servings, and maintain for 1-2 days in refrigerator.


Just add chocolate
Prepare a platecup of chopped mixed fruit. Put 200g (1 ½ cups) dark chocolate in a heat resistant bowl and 50 g (4.1 cup) butter 75 ml (1 / 3 cup) water and 2 tablespoons brandy or Malibu. If a pot of almost boiling water, so that the base of the shell is slightly above the water surface. Stir occasionally until melted, then stir until smooth. Serve with a fork for hunting and fruit dipped in chocolate sauce.


Celebration Sorbet
Put 600 ml (2 ½ cups) and Applemango juice in a heat with lemon rind and 75g sugar. Heat gently until the sugar dissolves, then boil for 1 minute over low heat, then pour into a bowl to cool. Pour into a container in the freezer for about 4 hours. Remove from freezer and mix well to break the ice crystals, then freeze until firm. Anyone can be a dessertValentine's Day dessert, if you have a heart-shaped decoration. Many stores sell cookware and forms of heart-shaped cut that is used for cakes and biscuits for the day to cook. Or make a model of the heart with a heart of steel sheet of cardboard. Insert the card with the heart-shaped opening at the top of a cake or a batch of pancakes and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Carefully remove stencil.

The Delaware Chapter of People to People International has celebrated the many visits of Delaware students this summer through the organization People to People Ambassador Programs was traveling with a picnic in a park of State, Delaware lum Bear Pond, Sunday, August 12, 2007. Approximately 35 students and their families, who had more than 110 attended the picnic lum Pond on a clear, warm afternoon. Some students visited six countries in Europe, visited the other two. Grade students visited western Canada. Every family has some food to share, and the chapter, provided drinks, desserts, and picnic intense need.
