Quick Thanksgiving Desserts for Those Last Minute Procrastinators

Thanksgiving is a time to gather with loved ones and eat turkey!

Now everyone has office meetings the day before Thanksgiving or school thanksgiving meals. Many family's are getting together to enjoy a nice time together around an old tradition of Thanksgiving feasts.

Desserts Food

Where did the tradition first start?

Well, there is not a hundred percent consensus on this, but the pilgrims that landed on Plymouth Rock in the Middle of winter would have starved to death if it had not been for the help of the Natives.

History shows the Europeans actually were starving to death. This prompted the natives to have mercy and help feed the Europeans for the Winter.

In the Spring, the Native taught the Europeans how to plant corn to survive in America. Now as most already know, the Europeans end up biting the hand that fed them and declared all out war on the natives as they build cities moving westward.

Now there is an erroneous teaching the corn came from the natives and was never eaten by the Europeans before. That simply is not true. The King James Bible written in 1611 has many references to corn in it, showing the Europeans ate corn before the Mayflower.

Long story short, so we gather our families together and eat turkey in commemoration. You may be very busy cooking your turkey and running out of time, or just need a quick desert to brink to your relatives and here it is.

Desert Name: Mud

1 big bag of Oreo cookies

2-3 tubs of Kool Whip

Bag of Oreo Crumbs

1 bag of Gummy Worms-optional

Directions:

1. In large bowl crush the Oreo cookies until no large cookies remain.

2. Add 2 or 3 tubs of Kool Whip and Mix with a Mixer for 30 seconds or less

3. Pour contents into a New Clean bowl and sprinkle crumbles liberally on top

4. Add Gummy Worms on top if desired and now your ready to serve.

Remember this dish is only good for 24-48 hours if kept in the refrigerator because the cookie crumbs get soggy. Enjoy!/b>
