Because eating a creaming and rich banana pudding, a piping hot deep-dish southern peach cobbler or a tasty southern sweet potato pie is always good for the soul.

When something small enough to fit into a saucer or bowl can make you happy, more comfortable and content, that's the description of soul food desserts.
